Therese Nowlan

Warm Flow

Therese's experience of yoga was a Hatha class in the 90's when a friend and her went to a small studio in Kimberton. It opened her eyes to a new way of being in the world. She moved and Therese drifted away. In 2000, a friend introduced her to a 'power flow' class and she slowly made her way onto her mat every week. She found it to be healing, lending her focus and presence. In 2010, she made the decision to try teacher training and see where it would lead. It has been incredibly expansive for her. Therese's teaching experience has deepened her own practice as well as allowing her to gently introduce yoga to new students. Therese notices that something magical happens when a new person walks into class. They stay, they sweat a bit, they wobble, they laugh at themselves, they love savasana, and at the end they ask when they should come back. Being a part of their journey has filled her life in a way she did not expect.

Sarah Rogers

Mindful Movement

Sarah first learned about yoga from her mom and began practicing formally in 1999. She received her 200 hour Hatha Yoga Certification from The Spirit of Yoga in January 2007 where she learned about various styles including Forrest, Ashtanga, Kripalu, Baptiste, Iyengar, Kundalini, and Prenatal yoga. In 2010, Sarah spent four months volunteering at The Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health as the Guest Yoga Team volunteer where she coordinated, taught, and assisted classes. She has much gratitude for all of her teachers and brings a calm, soothing presence to her yoga and meditation classes. She is interested in teaching her students to cultivate not only improved physical health but also an inner stillness and a tranquil spirit through their yoga practice both on and off the mat.
